||.:: The General Wolf ::.||
Name: Mayoi
Age: 7 Years
Gender: Female
Breed: Tora-ge Akita Inu/Ezo Okami Mix
||.:: Get to Know Me ::.||
Personality: Mayoi is known to be picky at many things and be a bit dim at times. She can also be very serious and dominant at times, showing that she is capable of being the leader of a pack. To strangers (at times), she is cold and not very social, but to friends, she is annoying, hyperactive, friendly, and talkative too.
Flaws: Although Mayoi is supposed to be a hunter, she refuses to kill anything due to the trauma of losing her entire family and friends to a war between packs. Seeing her friends and family be slowly decapitated caused her to dislike killing anything for any reason. She also has that problem while fighting. At times, flashbacks come back to her, scaring for a few seconds and leaving her open for attacks.
Family:
Shiroi (Mother; Akita Inu): Deceased
Kuroi (Father; Ezo Okami): Deceased
Midnight (Older Sister; Ezo Okami): Deceased
Hikari (Older Brother; Ezo Okami): Deceased

History:
'Wars... Blood.. Fighting.. Death..'
These images flashed over and over again in Mayoi's mind. She sat on the stump outside the place she called her Rakuen, next to the cherry blossom tree she knew too well. She loved the feel of the sea breeze blowing upon her ebony and blue-marked fur although the scent of the wind disturbed her nose. She looked at her paws, thinking back to the past; her past and her half-death.
As the second-born female pup in her pack, she was next in line for the role as Leader of her pack. In her pack, females were dominant, not males, as many could see. In first place for Leader was her older sister, Midnight, whom she looked up to a lot. Mayoi had always liked the way Midnight stayed calm under pressure, even when it was bad. This occurred because Midnight was considered dense: a wolf that had no true idea of what was happening or what happened. But that was all just a cover-up..
Mayoi looked up to the sky, her mouth gaping wide and her eyes gleaming with sorrow. She gazed at a rabbit scurrying along, trying to avoid her and her fangs. She knew that no matter what, she wouldn't kill it for she was a canine that did not like to kill for anything. She lived on the remains of already dead animals. Her eyes hazed over as another memory came back to her...
Mayoi had just turned four years old, and was celebrating the freedom that she now had. Her pack had trained her brutally to be strong; beating her badly to teach her to attack when she was being attacked. It was a long four years for her, but it was all worth it: she was free now.
As she walked along the borders of her pack lands, she noticed something odd in the mountains.. A large group of wolves.. She gasped in surprise, and quickly ran back to her pack to warn them.
Once she had warned her pack, they had split up into Platoons. They charged blindly into a battle that they didn't want to fight.. Mayoi's mouth gaped open once she saw what the opposing was up to: they were going to outnumber her pack! They had dug trails underground that she could see slightly. She rushed toward her pack, but it was too late..
Out came the foes from three of the underground tunnels. About 50 or so wolves surrounded the small pack of twenty wolves, and she could see her sister flinch as she saw the leader of these wolves, Koshi.
The two glared at each other for what seemed like hours before a smirk came to the white wolf's muzzle. He charged at Midnight, and stopped a few feet away from her. Her sister's blood soiled the ground and she wasn't even touched by the male. She instantly collapsed, clenching her fangs before looking to her side.
"Akira.."
The shadow demon smirked, slamming a paw on her injured back to prevent her from standing. "You've caused me enough trouble, wench.. And I can feel that you've caused him enough pain too."
Mayoi didn't understand what he meant, but she couldn't dawdle. She had to help the rest of her pack.
The foes attacked brutally, using their fangs to blind their enemy by sinking their fangs into their eyes and their claws to slash deeply into limbs. They even used some of the tunnels to trap and attack their enemies. It was the moment when her sister stepped up to fight, breaking free from the larger demon once she saw her younger sister...
Her ears sunk back, fearing those horrible memories. The scars from that battle were no longer on her, but she felt as if they were still there. She lied down on the stump, curling up into a small ball of fur. Another memory came to her as she closed her eyes to rest..
Her sister leaped into battle, nearly avoiding death two times. It seemed as if the foes were now going after her, which seemed like what Midnight wanted. Mayoi found herself leaping into battle alongside her sister, who glared at her with her chocolate hues right away.
"Get out of here.." she remembered Midnight say, "you have to live for the both of us, Mayoi. You have to live the life that I didn't get to: a life in which I was free; a life where my decisions didn't hurt others.. You can't die here.. you don't have a reason to die along with us here..."
Mayoi instantly put a protest, which ended up with her being stricken by her own sibling. Being the stubborn mutt she used to be, Mayoi fought anyway, getting injuries and standing to fight. At this point, every single member besides Midnight and Mayoi had died, and Midnight wasn't in too good of a condition. Her left eye had gotten slashed out during the battle and she was missing her left front leg. She was panting, but still there to fight. Before Mayoi could do anything, Midnight pushed her out of the fight, and into the river below labled the "River of Cries".
"Get out of here, you fool! You have to live on as the packs' support, Mayoi. You'll be able to help them, pup!" she heard her sibling yell to her. "Live long.. and farewell Mayoi."
For once during that fight, Mayoi followed orders and swam away from her old pack lands. As she did, she heard the last howl of Midnight: The Death Howl. The silence told Mayoi the entire story: her sister was dead and the enemy had abandoned the corpse, but she did not look back. She swam on, ignoring how tired her muscles grew, until she reached land. She passed out once she set foot on dry land.
"Kenta.. look, a pup."
The voice was hazy and she didn't know who was talking. She opened her eyes, seeing a moon-marked black wolf and a shaggy grayish wolf.
"That ain't no pup, moron. That's a mutt." the wolf labeled as "Kenta" said rudely.
"It's not as if you're any better. You're a mutt too." the other wolf replied.
Mayoi wasn't about to let herself be insulted. "You look worse than I do, moron. You're all fat n' stuff." Her voice came out a lot weaker than she wanted it to.
She expected the larger gray wolf to get angry and attack her, but he only smiled. His smile made her feel bad; it was the smile of someone who'd seen years of pain and who'd suffered, but was still willing to give life a chance to turn around.
"You're a fiery one, aren't you?" he walked over and managed to pick her up by the scruff of her neck even though she was a full-sized adult.
"W-where are you taking me?" she stuttered, feeling afraid of being taken by two strangers.
"You need help. We're here to give it to you." the black wolf slightly smiled at her, and she calmed down.
They soon came to a small den that was dug into the wall of a canyon, and the gray wolf carried her in and put her on the rocky floor. She immediately curled up into a ball, feeling cold all of a sudden.
"What's your name, mutt?"
"Mayoi." she said almost automatically. She felt so tired.
"Why are you out here all alone?"
He seemed to be trying to keep her awake. "My family's.. gone."
"Dead?"
"...Yes." she said hesitantly. She didn't want to talk about what had happened just yet. "What are your names?"
"Kentamaru. You can call me Kenta." he said calmly. "And this is my........ 'friend' Sesshiro."
"Thank you for helping me."
"Whatever, mutt. You just better not go to sleep."
She shifted slightly, wanting to know something. "You seem to like calling me a mutt, ne?"
"Right, Mutt!"
"So now it's my name?!"
"At least you got that right, you sneaky Mutt."
"Pretty please, Kentamaru-san! Call me by my name, not by the name you decided to call me by!"
"Ugly no, it's much more fun teasing you this way, Mutt."
"Ugly no?"
"Yeah, Mutt."
"How is a 'no' ugly?"
"Because... because it is."
"You're so stupid! And I thought you were a good person for a moment!"
"Shut up, you stupid mutt!"
"Why must you torture me this way?"
"'Cause it's funner this way!"
"It's not fun for me!"
"I never said it would be!"
"Go bother someone else!"
"It's no fun if it isn't you, you stupid Mutt!"
"Shut up, you crazy old bag!"
"I am NOT old, you crazy Mutt!"
"Yes you are, you're like forty years old! I can tell! No canine could live this long!"
"I'm a demon, you crazy mutt! Demons live longer! You should even know that!"
"That doesn't mean you're not old, you old bat!"
"I'm NOT old, Mutt-face!"
"'Mutt-face'? How original! Did you notice that oh, I don't know... I'm a MUTT?! I'm supposed to have to have a mutt-face, baka!"
"At least you admitted that you were a mutt! I'm glad you're not in denial, sneaky Mutt!"
"Bakayaro!"
"Baka!"
"Old bat!"
"Annoying Mutt!"
"Fat wolf!"
"F-FAT?! You're the only one who's fat here, mutt!"
"I am NOT fat!"
"YOU were the one who said that your tail made you look fat on the way here! You fat, sneaky, nagging Mutt!"
"KENTA!! I'M GONNA EAT YOU!"
"Then maybe you'll lose some weight, you fat Mutt!"
"Look at your reflection sometime soon, cat-eared wolf! It's not all your fur that makes you look fat!"
"Yeah right, Mutt! I'm gorgeous and you know it!"
"Don't make me barf, you crazy old half-breed! You're so fugly that even the world's ugliest dog wouldn't want to be beside you!"
"Keh!"
"So I'm right then!"
"Yeah right, you insane mutt!"
She giggled slightly, feeling a lot better for some reason.
"You're welcome, mutt." he said to her, walking away at the last word.
She felt an odd friendship developing, and she suddenly felt she knew what Akira was talking to her sister about. She looked up to the sky, swearing a vow to help all those that her sister hurt, and to finish the battle Midnight had started.
"Your soul is with me, sister. I'll heal their broken spirits for you, Midnight. And then you can rest without regret..."

||.:: The General Wolf ::.||
Name: Kentamaru (Kenta)
Age: 8 Years
Breed: Ezo Ookami (Hokkaido Wolf)
Species: Half-Demon, Half-Mortal
||.:: Get to Know Me ::.||
Personality: To new friends and allies, Kenta seems to have a very mixed personality. At times, he can seem like the calmest person you'd ever met, and then the next moment he'd be raging mad. But in reality, he is very closed-up. He doesn't try to make friends with anyone, and he won't allow them to try and become friends with him. He shuns people away, believing that they are truely better off not becoming friends with the "half-breed" as he calls himself.
Family:
Hiroko (Mother; Mortal Ezo Ookami): Deceased
Hiroshi (Father; Demon Ezo Ookami): Deceased
Kiyoshi (Brother; Demon Ezo Ookami): Alive
||.:: See Into My Past ::.||
History:
"Kenta-san, you don't have to be a full-breed for people to like you. Open up a little and let people know you're a good guy to be friends with!"
It was that nightmare again. That nightmare where everything he wanted was given to him.. and then slowly, it began to dissapear..
"It's your fault she died..! It's your fault Mother's dead! Because you had to go after Akira!" he saw a white wolf with black markings yell at him, lying against a battered and deceased wolf. "She'd still be alive if you'd been there to protect her!"
He pawed at his head, the bite mark hidden on his head throbbing from the wipe his brother had given him. But the memories slowly edged back, seeming like he was telling them him..
'My name is Kentamaru. My father died in a battle right after he named me, and my mother was murdered when I was a whelp. My brother abandoned me when he was told to care for me, so I had to live off what I could. I survived with the leftovers of a wolf packs' meal... That is, until they figured out that I was a mutt.
That pack of wolves were part of the mortal army, except they didn't know that the leading male was a demon. He sneaked me some meat scraps whenever the pack wasn't looking. Their next leader, a black wolf named Midnight, seemed a little too aloof to be leader, but I suppose it was their choice, not mine.
I met with her on several occasions, and she seemed to want to help me, regardless of what I was. It felt.. odd to be treated to casually like that.
For some reason in the following weeks, Midnight's pack kept looking at her with a glare. I didn't know why, but I didn't go all nosy and ask.
A few days later, she came to me but she looked.. terrified. I wanted to know what was plaguing her, but I didn't want to be nosy. She told me right away. It's like.. she's a mind reader or somethin'.
"We've.. been found out. A pack tried to tell on us to Koshi that my father and I have been helping you. And.. and we had to keep them silent. He could kill us with just three wolves Kenta! You have to leave! Now! I can't risk losing my sister!"
I remember the pure terror on her face. Koshi apparently meant trouble, and I, Kentamaru, always went looking for trouble!
"Don't worry, Midnight." I told her, smirking. "I'll.. take that idoit down and I'll get revenge for that pack! Then you won't have to cower like this anymore!"
I suppose I was a bit over-confident back then.. Oh well. She smiled sadly and thanked me, and we began our misson: Kill Koshi!
Along the way to catch Koshi, we met a lot of allies.. and enemies who turned out to be allies! Sesshiro, the leader of the Southern pack and my father's advisor; my brother, Kiyoshi who fought me but then surrendered and joined the pack; and Mayoi, a thick-headed mutt with a strong will to fight.. Amazingly, she was Midnight's younger sister that I met after Midnight died.
Koshi sucked out most of my demon blood, only leavng behind the rage it felt. It drove me insane and took away my ability to think.. feel.. it even took away my judgment and ability to tell the difference between friend and foe.. I injured my friends.. I took Midnight's eye (although she still said it was Koshi), I scarred Sesshyro's muzzle and head, and in short, Kiyoshi lost his sight.. My demon side- who named himself Akira- went with Koshi, chuckling as he saw me snarling at him for making me betray my allies.
And on our attempt to face Koshi.. we lost. He sent Akira on us, and Akira used his newfound powers to scar us badly. He clawed me on the face and chest; Permanent scars that prooved my many fights against him.. But what I didn't know.. was that Akira was only distracting me..
Koshi killed Midnight all on his own. Keiji was curled up besides her, crying for his lost mother. He blamed her death on my irresponsibility, and I don't doubt him. He ran off.. and he never came back again. The next day, Machigai told me that he had gone mad in sorrow, attacking and nearly killing his brother, Keitaro, and then ran off towards the Crimson Cliffs to end his suffering. I never went there again. Slowly, but surely.. my life was falling apart.. and my family was falling apart... all because of one foolish decision I made as a foolish, overconfident pup.
