Since the accident Rushiiba has changed quite a bit, not only in attitude but in appearance as well. Before he was a sprightly, athletic young wolf. . . now he has difficulty in walking.
When he escaped, Rushi was hurt rather badly and these injuries have since crippled him. The leg that was caught in the cage is now useless, and both eyes are thoroughly blinded. While before Rushiiba had decent muscle tone he is now very thin and incapable of moving like he used to because of his useless leg. He chooses to wear his human guise almost exclusively--the fear of being captured again has traumatized him.
His human form is scrawny, waif like. The kid uses a crutch for his leg, and is hardly ever seen without it. As before Rushiiba will wear pretty much anything, though he prefers army fatigues for their warmth. Generally he wears a set outfit of oversized, torn and faded blue jeans, black leggings, a long-sleeved cotton t-shirt, sneakers and a very oversized red hoodie. His hair is cut in messy layers, the color is something between strawberry blonde and brunette. His face is usually dirty but by no means ugly, despite the scar above his left eye. Rushi is fairly androgynous in body and face, and more delicate-looking than would seem appropriate for a wolf. His eyes are completely red, and sightless. The kid's skin is pale and his hair falls across his forehead unevenly. There is something slightly unsettling about the wolf, in the wildness that lingers in him.
His wolf form is similarly skinny, and he walks with a very pronounced limp(the crippled leg has to be carried as best it can). The fur is thick and a bit coarse, the color being more noticeably red than it was in his younger years; red enough to be differentiated from the cream of his markings and underbelly. As far as his frame goes Rushiiba's legs are on the long side, supporting a thin body. His neck is long and fluffy-maned; while his muzzle is on the short side.Personality
likes: warmth, friends, conversation, humans, other wolves
dislikes: teasing, fighting, rats, pain
fears: being alone, being captured again, dying
Rushiiba isn't as childish and playful as he was before, but still just as naive. Despite what happened to him he would like to believe there is good in everyone; that no one is purely evil. He is shyer than before and doesn't approach as willingly as he used to; fear is a much larger part of his personality than it was before. Once you have earned his trust Rushi's deeply caring and loyal attributes are revealed, that he would do almost anything for someone he cares about. He doesn't like girls in a romantic way, or boys really for that matter, and largely just wants some friends who won't pick on him for his weaknesses. As before Rushi is a pacifist--he hates fighting and causing pain; especially now that he has experienced such agonizing injuries.
Above all Rushi is a very lonely individual, he thirsts to be part of a group again but knows very few would want him.History
He was born just outside one of the remaining cities, or so he thinks. Rushiiba has no recollection of his parents, remembering only a woman picking him up off the side of a road going into the settlement. She took him back to what would become his childhood home; Rushi was forced to leave on reaching puphood because the woman had chickens. He killed one, then two, then three. She threw him out. He can still remember her; she was a kind, middle-aged single mother. Rushi has learned not to blame her, she had to get rid of him to keep her child safe. At least that's what he keeps telling himself.
Rushiiba wandered through the countryside shadowing his old home for several days. When the lady who had raised him came out with a rifle and shot, he ran. That was the first time Rushi had ever heard a gun. Aimless, he wandered away from the small village and stumbled into a large (if decrepit) city. He discovered his human form there, and began to use it more and more regularly to blend in better. He tried to join a gang almost immediately, aiming for some companionship.
He was rejected after the gang's first run for running away and hiding at the first sound of gunfire. For almost a year Rushi wandered the city, tagging along after different wolves. His lax attitude when it came to avoiding humans eventually got him captured, and scheduled to be euthanized.
In desperation the young wolf fought his way out of the cage, using his narrower human form to squeeze out from between the bars. On the way out one leg got caught. . . on of the nearby personal smashed at it. When Rushi finally managed to get away he had a severely broken leg, cuts along his ribs and a cut over his left eyebrow. They had sprayed something into his eyes, and he couldn't see. . .
Now the wolf stays in the city, rarely using his natural form. Humankind has inspired fear in him for the first time, but still he trusts them. After all, no one can be completely evil, right?
