A dark cloud hangs over the emotions at Southern Weyr. Reina of Gold Soberanoth, has gone Between. As an aging pair that had long seen the last of their days on the Sands, it was perhaps natural. However, the following blow of loosing young Avery of Gold Svialynth was a hard one. Now, there are only two Queens left at Southern Weyr, and only one old enough to clutch! Luckily, Gold Ocellarith is growing egg heavy. Will she produce yet another daughter for Southern? Time will tell. The dark things don't end there, sadly. Two candidates were found dead, murdered by one of the candidate's angry relatives. Though it is thought as nothing more than chance, Weyr security has increased. At Eastern, they have been spared such tragedy. Strange things are afoot, however. A Red, recently caught, is showing signs of being egg heavy of all things. No one is sure if this is true, or not, but as in the South, things in the East will tell true in time. Outside of the Weyrs, Raiders have been seen, and danger is growing. Things are starting to heat up, come and join us, not only are Rider positions open there are also Handler positions as well! All Candidates are welcome, or if you fancy a horde of female Riders or Handlers, Bring them! We welcome all types and either gender of Candidates, Riders, Handlers, or common Pernese!



Southern Pern is an AU Dragonriders of Pern RP, where AIVAS was never found and doesn't exist. The South split from the North but is heavily settled. Advancement in the lives of the Southern Pernese and technology are present. What we also have to offer:
