Back in the 1700's, Native Americans lived peacefully in the lands that ruled the west. They lived in groups, some small, and some large. Each called themselves a tribe, the largest two being the Cherokee and the Blackfoot. They thrived in the land for hundreds of years, living off bison and caribou. Unlike the white settlers, the Natives used all of the bison for varies purposes. The survived on horseback and followed a single person in their group. This person was a strong male called the Chief. The rest of the tribe were broken into warriors, hunters, and gatherers, born into ranks that they would fulfill for the rest of their lives.
But by the beginning of the 1800's, the whites decided they wanted more land. They began to fight and sometimes even massacre the tribes of Native Americans. When the Natives fought back, the white took the next step. They began to slaughter buffalo herds. Killing all until only a single herd remained. This left the Native's with very little food supply and soon enough, many were dying of starvation. In the end, the whites had won. Many of the Natives surrendered and were taken to the frontier or to the villages themselves, most settling in Oklahoma.
Now, two tribes remain, the Cherokee and Blackfoot. Though they are weakened, they are not yet defeated, and still wander the west. While their tribe mates are forced to give up their language and religion in the frontiers and states, these two tribes struggle to maintain their way of life. Do you have what it takes to live in the wilderness and fight for survival with every breath you take? Do you have what it takes to be a member of the last remaining tribes?
